Sarah Beth Brittain ’24

Sarah Beth Brittain is a first-generation Aggie and a recent graduate of Texas A&M University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics with a concentration in policy and economic analysis, as well as a certificate in International Trade in Agriculture. Hailing from East Texas, Sarah Beth was raised highly involved in the agriculture sector through Texas FFA and Texas 4-H, along with managing her registered cow-calf operation. Her leadership roles in these organizations, along with her work alongside a Civil and Personal Injury Trial attorney, fueled her ambition to become a civil or agricultural attorney. Throughout her undergraduate career, she was an active member of numerous campus organizations including Agricultural Economics Society, Aggie Sisters for Christ, Texas Aggie Cattlewomen Association, and Saddle and Sirloin Club. Taking her experiences beyond the college campus, in the summer of 2023, she studied abroad in Scotland, where she gained insight into similarities and differences of farming operations, livestock, and land allocation as it compares to the United States. In the summer of 2024, she interned through ANRP in Washington, D.C. for her hometown Congressman, Nathaniel Moran, as he worked to represent Texas’ first congressional district. By pursuing this national-level policy experience, it reaffirmed her interest in policy and solidified her passion to advocate for those who cannot defend themselves and influence meaningful change. Sarah Beth will be attending the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences to pursue a Master of Agribusiness.
